Alabama Arts Education Initiative Grants

The Alabama State Department of Education is accepting proposals to provide new opportunities or to expand arts programs.

Letters of Intent (LOI) are due October 13, 2023. This is a great opportunity to apply for funding for your already existing arts program or to create a new one!
Grants will provide an opportunity to strengthen the development and implementation of comprehensive arts education programs. Grants may provide additional support to schools with existing plans designed to provide quality arts instruction or support multi-sensory arts experiences through cross-curricula instruction.

The Alabama Arts Alliance is a statewide partnership program of the Alabama State Council on the Arts, is a member of Americans for the Arts, the Southeastern Arts Advocacy Group, and a partner with the Alabama State Department of Education. Projects and programs are supported by grants from the Alabama State Council on the Arts, South Arts Inc., Support the Arts License Tag Fund, and individual donations.
