About the 2023 Arts Summit

Best practices, innovative case studies, poignant storytelling, idea-sharing from the field—these reside at the heart of the Alabama Arts Summit 2023. We bring together experts, educators, artists, and impassioned innovators for interactive collaboration. This annual meeting allows training related to program and partnership development and will also provide the opportunity to learn from each other's experiences. Learn the latest research facts and figures on the arts to help make your case. Strategize with experienced advocates on how to make the case for the arts and arts education.

The Summit, now in its 18th year, aims to bring together educators, art advocates, creative professionals, legislators, and others from all endeavors, who share a desire to improve education, the economy, and quality of life for all Alabamians through the arts. By gathering, collaborating, and exploring together, we will provide the setting for inspiration and motivation. Energized participants will leave the Summit with a fresh perspective, inspired ideas, new goals to meet, and partnerships that will ensure that the arts thrive in Alabama.
